Bineswar Brahma Engineering College (BBEC) is located at Kokrajhar in Assam. The institute is around 5 kms away from Kokrajhar town.<\/p>

In the year 2006, the Govt. of Assam declared that an Engineering College would be set up at Kokrajhar. Accordingly after two years of the decision, \u00a0the foundation stone of the college was laid by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on 16th<\/sup> August 2008 at Chandrapara, a village nearby\u00a0Kokrajhar town. The college was named after Bineswar Brahma i.e<\/em>. Bineswar Brahma Engineering College (BBEC).\u00a0Bineswar Brahma was an eminent member of the Bodo Community. He was a very active social worker who had to sacrifice his life for the development of Bodo community. He is known as \u201cSubungthini Thandwi\u201d among Bodos. So, decision was made among intellectuals & this Engineering College was named after him.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
